Police said that the accident happened in front of the Abernathy Arts Center. They found that 31-year-old Zahide Rodriguez was traveling eastbound near the Arts Center on Johnson Ferry Road when the Acura left the road and struck an embankment. The collision was so forceful that the vehicle went airborne and rested on its roof in front of the center.

Rodriguez was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. Police said that she is stable and expected to survive. They are investigating to determine what led to the circumstances of the accident.
