The South Carolina Highway Patrol quickly responded to the scene of the accident and injuries were reported. However, police do not know at this time just how many parties were affected by the accident. It took place around 1:11 p.m. today.

The crash involved a pickup truck, which was pushed off the side of the road, possibly in a ditch. There was also a sedan involved, which was turned the wrong way in traffic and had the front-end smashed in.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
