Police say that the accident happened around 5:32 p.m. that evening when the Amtrak train had been traveling to Miami and suddenly came into contact with the individual. They say that the person was not supposed to be there at the time.

There were approximately 156 passengers on board and none of them were injured. The train was stationed for quite some time until it moved again and law enforcement are still investigating what caused this accident to occur.
