LaGrange, NC (December 4, 2018) – Five LaGrange residents received injuries in a car accident that took place at an intersection this morning, December 4, around 10:21 a.m.

The accident took place at Commerce Avenue. At the time, a Ford Explorer had been traveling east when an Oldsmobile was turning left from Horace Street and collided with it. There were five people in the Oldsmobile who were taken to the hospital. Three of these individuals were children.

The driver of the Oldsmobile received citations for failing to yield at a stop sign.

At this time, police continue to investigate the accident.
