Acworth, GA (November 21, 2018) – Police say that yesterday morning, the driver of a truck involved in a serious tractor-trailer crash lost his life on Interstate 75.

The Sheriff’s Office originally responded to the accident around 7:10 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway. At the time, the tractor-trailer was involved in an accident and went about 600 feet into the grass before it came to rest under the bridge of Highway 92. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, though his name has not yet been released.

The driver did not live in and was probably not familiar with the Atlanta metro area. At this time, officials are still trying to notify his family before they release the name. No other injuries have been reported and police continue to investigate.
