Aiken County, SC (December 1, 2018) – Police say that a man lost his life in a fatal accident that took place on Storm Branch Road around 3 p.m. today, December 1. The coroner arrived at the scene and identified the party as 33-year-old Johnathan Monroig.

At the time of the accident, Monroig was driving north on the 1900 block of Storm Branch. He attempted passing another vehicle over the double yellow line, which caused him to become involved in an accident.

Police say that the 33-year-old lost control of his vehicle and it crashed into a tree, then caught on fire. Monroig passed away due to multiple bodily trauma.
