Alamance County, NC (November 17, 2018) – In Alamance County, a school bus that was loaded with high school students was involved in a serious school bus accident when it ran off the side of the road. The accident took place on Friday morning, November 16.
The bus belonged to the Alamance-Burlington School System, who said that the bus crashed on Jim Manor Road and that there were 10-12 students on the bus at the time.
School officials said that multiple students suffered injuries but all of them are expected to recover. The driver was okay as well.
A good Samaritan stopped at the scene of the accident to help students get off the bus. Another bus came to the scene so that they could transfer the students to the school.
We would like to extend our sympathies to all of those involved in this accident, as we understand how difficult it can be to suffer serious injuries, especially when a child suffers injuries.
