Albany, GA (December 11, 2018) – In Albany, a man in a wheelchair was struck and killed in a truck accident involving a USPS truck. The accident happened on Thursday around 7 p.m.

55-year-old Glenn Osborne Kelly was struck by the mail truck when he was making his way across East Broad Avenue. A 50-year-old USPS driver collided head-on with Kelly as he was traveling westbound.

The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. He claimed that he did not notice Kelly in his wheelchair until the two had made impact. The driver has not been charged in this case.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
