Albany, GA (November 29, 2018) – In Albany, one person lost their life in a fatal intersection crash that took place at the intersection of South Slappey Boulevard and Newton Road. The accident took place at 12:59 a.m. today, November 29.
The man who lost his life in this terrible accident has been identified as 28-year-old Paul Browner II, who was approaching the Newton Road intersection when he suddenly drove over a traffic island in the roadway. That is when his vehicle rolled several times and ended up slamming into a tree that was alongside the road. No other injuries were reported.
At the time, the road was closed down so that the accident could be further investigated. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
