Allendale County, SC (November 17, 2018) – In Allendale County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal accident on November 16. The accident took place around 8:30 last night near Furst Mill Road.

Police reported that one driver was in their 2014 Dodge Charger, which had been traveling south on SC-125 when the driver suddenly crossed over the center line and struck an SUV.

The driver of the Dodge was killed after they had been entrapped in their vehicle. The driver and passenger in the SUV that had been struck were both taken to the hospital for treatment of a variety of injuries.

The victim who lost their life has since been identified as 59-year-old Janice Gordon of Brunson.
