Anderson County, SC (November 24, 2018) – In Anderson County, two girls were hospitalized following a fiery car accident on Friday evening, November 24 around 7:45 p.m.

Police say that, at the time, 19-year-old K.D. Young was driving a 2008 Dodge two-door on Interstate 85 when she was involved in an accident and drove off the side of the road. The vehicle struck a tree, which is when it caught on fire.

Young was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. A young girl was also in the vehicle at the time and was also taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police continue to investigate what caused the initial accident at this time.
