Asheboro, NC (November 27, 2018) – An Asheboro man lost his life this weekend when he was driving his vehicle and was involved in an accident off of NC-49 that caused his death.
The accident happened around 7:12 a.m. in the morning. The police were immediately called to the scene of the accident near Tot Hill Farm Road to find that 24-year-old Marcos Geovanny Ramirez Rodriguez had lost his life as a result of the crash. The accident caused his vehicle to go over the center line and off the side of the road.
Rodriguez died at the scene after striking multiple trees on the side of the roadway.
Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident at this time.
