A police report stated that the pedestrian had been walking on Sanford Drive when she saw multiple individuals start to cross the street in front of her, so she followed them. Police continue to investigate at this time.
Being involved in a bus accident can cause serious results, as these are huge vehicles compared to other motor vehicles. As a result, you could very easily sustain serious injuries. We would like to extend positive thoughts and offer encouragement as the injured parties start the recovery process.
Bus Accident in Georgia
Bus accidents might not happen as frequently as other motor vehicle crashes, but when they do occur, they still tend to cause serious accidents to those involved. Bus accidents are very unique in the way that they are considered to be common carriers, who have a responsibility of taking passengers from place to place. If you have been injured in one of these accidents, you have many rights.
Holding a common carrier party liable can be difficult because it might not always be cut-and-dry to determine if the driver will be held responsible or the company who employs them. When liability issues are an area of concern, it is important to speak with an experienced attorney about your case. You never want to move forward and handle your claim alone.
