Athens, GA (November 30, 2018) – This past week, a University of Georgia bus was involved in an accident involving a pedestrian that led to a variety of injuries. The pedestrian did not sustain injuries themselves, but multiple people on the bus received a variety of injuries.

At the time, the pedestrian had been walking south on Sanford Drive in Athens and started crossing the street with a bunch of other people. At that time, an oncoming bus owned by the University of Georgia braked so that it wouldn’t hit her. The pedestrians were not injured.

Several students on the bus were jerked forward due to the collision and received injuries. One person lost consciousness and another suffered a variety of different injuries.
