Atlanta, GA (August 17, 2018) – A male pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car on Interstate 85. The incident occurred early Friday morning.
The pedestrian was walking on Interstate 85 North at Georgia State Route 400 and a car struck him on the road. While the man suffered injuries from this incident, the driver of the car that hit him stayed there until paramedics and police arrived. The male victim was transported to the Grady Memorial Hospital.
According to Atlanta police, there is no information as to why the man was walking on the big highway and there have been no reports on whether charges have been filed against the driver.
