Atlanta, GA (August 18, 2018) – A scooter driver was injured after a hit-and-run that happened early Saturday morning. The incident occurred in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood between the intersection of Boulevard and Edgewood Avenue at around 2:30 am.
No names have been given out yet, but the driver of the scooter was taken by a Grady EMS ambulance to the local hospital for medical care. There are no reports on the severity of the driver’s injuries, although the medical examiner says there were no fatalities.
Atlanta police are still investigating this incident and there is no word on whether charges will be filed. No further information is available at this time.
