Atlanta, GA – 12-Year-Old Killed and Another Injured in Fatal Car Accident

Atlanta, GA (January 3, 2019) – Police say that a 12-year-old girl was killed and a toddler was seriously injured.

Atlanta, GA (January 3, 2019) – Police say that a 12-year-old girl was killed and a toddler was seriously injured in a fatal car accident yesterday afternoon, January 2.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. near Glenwood Avenue SE and Second Avenue SE. Police said that the 18-month-old toddler is now in stable condition. When police arrived at the scene of the accident, they found that the 12-year-old girl was unresponsive. She later died from her injuries at Egleston Hospital.

A 53-year-old woman had also been in the vehicle and suffered two broken legs. She was taken to the hospital. The names of the victims have not been released as of yet.

At this time, police continue their investigation into this accident as they gather information on how it occurred.
