Atlanta, GA (December 6, 2018) – Police say that a man was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident that happened in Northwest Atlanta early this morning, December 6.
The pedestrian has not yet been identified. They allegedly ran out into traffic trying to cross the street at Chattahoochee Avenue and Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard. The accident, according to police, took place around 7 a.m.
The driver stayed at the scene of the accident and worked with police on their investigation. The driver was traveling northwest at the time. They claimed that they had not been able to stop in time.
The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. At this time, police continue to investigate.
