Atlanta, GA (November 6, 2018) – Police say that a retired Supreme Court Justice died in a serious accident that.

Atlanta, GA (November 6, 2018) – Police say that a retired Supreme Court Justice died in a serious accident that took place on Sunday, November 4. The accident took place that afternoon when he was driving home on Interstate 85 near Cleveland Avenue.

Police have identified the former GA Supreme Court Justice as 75-year-old Harris Hines. At the time, he had been driving to his Marietta home from Newnan. He had allegedly left a church service where he had been watching his 8-year-old granddaughter sing.

His wife, Helen, was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash and was conscious and alert when she was taken to the hospital with injuries. Hines had been changing lanes when he was involved in an accident and ended up striking a guardrail where the vehicle.

At this time, police continue to investigate this accident.
