Atlanta, GA (November 7, 2018) – Police say that a man was struck on the side of I-285 in a pedestrian accident in Atlanta when he ran out of gas. Police say that he had gotten out of his vehicle on the shoulder of the highway just past Cascade Road.

Atlanta Police responded to the scene of the accident. The driver who struck the man stayed at the scene so that they could answer questions in their full cooperation with the police.

The victim of the accident, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital. He has been listed in critical but stable condition.
