Atlanta, GA (November 21, 2018) – On Interstate 285, a Georgia trooper’s patrol vehicle flipped onto its roof in a serious rollover accident on Tuesday, November 20.
The accident involved the trooper’s SUV and another vehicle, both of which were severely damaged. The accident took place when the rear right tire of a red car blew out and the driver suddenly lost control. The car struck the cruiser, which forced it into the barrier. It then overturned.
Medics immediately arrived at the scene and rushed the trooper to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate at this time.
