Augusta, GA (August 12, 2018) – Injury Accident at Blueberry and Fernwood

The Augusta Police Department was called to an accident at the intersection of Blueberry Drive and Fernwood Drive.  The collision occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday (August 12, 2018) at approximately 1 a.m. At least one person was reported injured in the crash.  EMTs were called to the scene to render aid to the injured. Police directed traffic and interviewed witnesses to determine who was at fault and if any citations should be issued.

Blueberry Drive and Fernwood Drive is not a normal intersection.  It is in a residential area surrounded by houses. Fernwood stops at Blueberry Drive by a stop sign.  Although the police has not issued any information as to the cause of the crash, most likely, given the intersection involved, it involved one driver speeding through the stop sign.
