Augusta, GA (November 1, 2018) – A woman lost her life in a serious two-car accident that took place in Augusta. The accident happened on Wednesday, October 31.

The woman was identified as 73-year-old Soon Myung Hwang. Police say that she had been a passenger in a Buick Century that was driving southbound at the time and attempting to turn onto Lock and Dam Road. It was then struck by a Toyota Corolla.

The Buick overturned during the impact. The female died at the scene of the accident, according to police.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
