Awendaw, SC (November 17, 2018) – In Awendaw, a motorcycle accident took place involving another vehicle on Highway 17 and Highway 45 that led to injuries.
Emergency responders came to the scene of the accident, where they found a red motorcycle completely on its side and one party injured. Police are not sure what caused the vehicles to collide but the results were serious.
Both southbound lanes of the highway were closed down and traffic was routed to another direction. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
