Berkeley County, SC – Three-Car Accident Led to One Fatality

Berkeley County, SC (November 17, 2018) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a three-car.

Berkeley County, SC (November 17, 2018) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a three-car accident this morning that ended in the fatality of one party. The accident took place on Interstate 26.

Police arrived at the scene around 1:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes near the I-95 mile marker.

Police say that a motorcycle struck the back of a tractor-trailer. This caused the truck to swerve and strike a pickup in the lane next to it.

The motorcyclist lost his life at the scene of the accident and was identified as 33-year-old Tyler Adams. Nobody else was injured in the accident. It remains under investigation at this time.
