Bertie County, NC – Man Killed After Serious Two-Vehicle Collision

Bertie County, NC (November 17, 2018) – Police say that a 35-year-old man lost his life when two individuals were.

Bertie County, NC (November 17, 2018) – Police say that a 35-year-old man lost his life when two individuals were involved in a two-vehicle collision in Bertie County. The incident took place yesterday morning, November 17, around 11:17 a.m.

Police responded to the Highway 308, close to the border of Windsor. A vehicle had been traveling south on Powell and Stokes Road and failed to stop at a stop sign. They pulled into the path of another vehicle traveling in the other direction.

35-year-old Robert Bazemore was killed in the crash. Officials say that he was in the vehicle that didn’t yield at the stop sign. At this time, police have not said whether he was the driver or a passenger in the vehicle.

Troopers say that four other people were taken to the hospital with various injuries.
