Police responded to the accident around 12:30 p.m. when he was riding his motorcycle in Boone. He was vacationing there at the time.

Coffman was immediately rushed to the hospital following the incident, which police are still investigating so that they can determine the cause. He had some broken bones and is still having tests done at this time.
