Burke County, GA (October 11, 2018) – On I-25 and Childress Road Wednesday afternoon seven people were injured in a traffic accident when an SUV pulled out into oncoming traffic and was struck by another SUV.
Fire and Rescue crews along with police arrived at the accident scene that required tow trucks and three ambulances to help clear it. One person had to be extracted from their vehicle and all seven involved in the crash were injured. All injured parties were immediately transported to the nearest hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The names of those involved have not yet been released as the investigation into this accident is still ongoing.
