Burke County, GA (November 14, 2018) – One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a Burke County crash that took place in the area of Ben Hatcher and Highway 80.
Police say that one vehicle was involved in an accident with another, which led to serious damages to an SUV. One lane of traffic was closed down in the area and a power line was knocked over.
An ambulance responded to the scene and confirmed that one person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Those in the area were urged to take other routes.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
