Canton, GA (November 26, 2018) – In Canton, an elderly man was injured in a utility vehicle rollover crash that took place this morning around 7:45 a.m. in Cherokee County.

Emergency crews with the Cherokee County Fire responded to the incident to find that the man was trapped under his vehicle from an accident that took place on Essic Road. First responders say that the John Deere Gator rolled over the 90-year-old man. Witnesses were able to push the Gator off. The victim was conscious at the scene.

Responders say that the man suffered a variety of injuries but, luckily, none were life-threatening in nature. He was quickly transported to the Northside Hospital Cherokee. At this time, the incident continues to be investigated.
