Georgia Speeding Accidents

Vehicle collisions on our roadways take place for many negligent reasons every year. Sometimes, drivers are distracted and using their cell phones at the time of the accident. Other times, they are driving while under the influence. Some of the most dangerous accidents, however, take place due to those who are speeding.

When somebody makes the decision to drive over the speed limit, they can easily lose control of their vehicle and cause a collision. Collisions that take place at high speeds are usually more catastrophic and life-threatening in nature. If somebody has acted in a negligent fashion and caused one of these collisions, you have options when it comes to recovery.

When the police come to the scene of your accident, they will be able to construct a police report to show that the at-fault driver was traveling over the speed limit at the time. Investigators will look at the position of the vehicles at the time of the collision, speak with witnesses, and many more aspects that will help them piece together the details of your accident.
