Macon, GA- (October 6, 2018) – Police in Bibb County are investigating after a car crashed into a man’s house.

Police and ambulances responded to the scene.

According to the police, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident swerved to avoid an allegedly intoxicated man who was standing in the roadway. The driver then veered off the road and crashed into the home.

Andrew Carver, the resident of the house, said that he was watching television at the time of the accident when suddenly a wall hit him in the face, though his injuries were not life-threatening.

Carver stated that this is the second time in a few years that a car has crashed into his home and that he plans to move.

The driver of the car has been taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and as of posting, no charges have been filed.
