Cartersville, GA (December 20, 2018) – A man from Cartersville was charged following a serious pedestrian accident where he fled the scene after pinning a woman against a truck.

This week, an employee of an automotive shop showed up on Burnt Hickory Road to repossess a Chevy Corvette. The employee spoke with the man who had been leasing the Corvette, identified as Robert Louis Seaman.

Seaman and the employee immediately went outside, which is when Seaman noticed the Corvette was already partially loaded onto the back of a tow truck. Seaman got inside his vehicle, turned on the engine, and locked the doors. He then put the vehicle into gear and removed the truck from the boom. The act was so aggressive that a woman was pinned against a Ford F-250 truck.

Seaman fled the scene but was later tracked down at his home. He tried to tell police that he didn’t hit anybody with his vehicle. Seaman has since been charged with aggravated assault, failure to report an accident with injuries, and more.

At this time, there is no information given on the condition of the woman who was seriously injured in this accident.

We would like to extend our condolences to the woman who was injured in this accident and hope that she will receive a full recovery from her outstanding injuries.
