Catoosa County, GA (December 30, 2018) – A man from Fort Oglethorpe is still on the run after police say.

Catoosa County, GA (December 30, 2018) – A man from Fort Oglethorpe is still on the run after police say that a car accident happened involving one of their patrol vehicles.

Police say that Joseph Lolley was stopped around 10 a.m. yesterday by a Georgia Highway Patrol officer at Park Lake Road. The trooper who pulled Lolley over said that Lolley struck the patrol car with his vehicle and then immediately fled the scene.

Police obtained Lolley’s driver’s license before he was able to flee the scene and discovered that there were felony warrants out for his arrest. Lolley had a passenger with him who was also taken into custody.

There were damages in the accident and emergency services were called to help those who received injuries in the accident.

The investigation into the matter continues at this time.
