Cayce, SC (December 18, 2018) – Two people lost their lives in a wrong-way collision that took place on Interstate.

Cayce, SC (December 18, 2018) – Two people lost their lives in a wrong-way collision that took place on Interstate 77 on Monday morning, December 17 around 7:30 a.m.

The accident happened in the area of an intersection where two interstates meet with one another. 79-year-old John McCravy had been traveling in the wrong direction when his vehicle struck another head-on, driven by 42-year-old Ann-Marie Vargas Kincade.

McCravy was immediately transported to the hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries while there. Police say that Kincade lost her life at the scene of the accident.

Both drivers had been wearing seatbelts at the time. The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
