DUI Accident in South Carolina
DUI-related accidents are a crime that is taken very seriously under the law. If you have been involved in one of these accidents due to the negligent actions of another party, you have a right to bring a claim on your behalf to pay for damages such as lost wages, medical bills, and more.
Crime-related accidents are much different than any other types of accidents on our roads due to the fact that liability tends to be cut-and-dry. This is apparent in cases of a hit-and-run where a negligent party strikes you and flees the scene and DUI where a negligent party makes a bad decision to drive while intoxicated. If you have been involved in one of these accidents due to the negligence of another party, you have rights.
