Charleston, SC (December 26, 2018) – Early yesterday morning on Christmas, one person lost their life in a fatal accident.

Charleston, SC (December 26, 2018) – Early yesterday morning on Christmas, one person lost their life in a fatal accident near Avondale in Charleston, according to police.

At the time, a man in a black Audi was involved in an accident on Magnolia Road between the area of Sycamore Avenue and Maple Street. As a result, his vehicle struck a tree. He was quickly transported to the Medical University of South Carolina and was tragically pronounced dead while there.

Police are not sure what caused the accident to happen, but it took place despite many measures that the Charleston Police Department has taken to prevent fatal accidents on their roads. The name of the man has not yet been released and the investigation continues.
