Charleston, NC (November 28, 2018) – This week, an Elizabeth City woman lost her life in a Charleston fatal car.

Charleston, NC (November 28, 2018) – This week, an Elizabeth City woman lost her life in a Charleston fatal car accident. The woman was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a serious crash.

The woman was identified as 86-year-old Nancy Rascoe Stevenson, who tragically lost her life as a passenger in a vehicle that was being operated by her husband at the time. The accident happened on the US-17 Bypass north of US-17 Alternate.

At the time, 86-year-old Paul Stevenson was operating his Toyota when he was involved in an accident as his vehicle crossed over into another lane. Nobody else was injured in the accident. Mrs. Stevenson passed away at the hospital, while Mr. Stevenson was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation at this time.
