Charleston, SC (December 28, 2018) – A two-car accident took place on the Wando Bridge that closed down traffic for quite some time. The accident reportedly involved injuries, according to police.
Police say that two vehicles were involved in the accident, including a semi-truck cab. The crash involved injuries and was reported around 12:58 p.m. Around 1:30 p.m., a single middle lane was reopened to allow traffic through.
Police are not sure what caused the vehicles to collide, but they said that one vehicle, a passenger vehicle, was seriously damaged in the accident.
At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
