Charlotte, NC (November 8, 2018) – On Wednesday afternoon, November 7, one person was left in critical condition following a serious bicycle accident. The accident took place in East Charlotte and involved a school bus.

Police said that the bicyclist was riding along on Eastway Drive and Central Avenue when the accident occurred. That’s when the school bus driver struck the bicyclist for reasons that are not yet known.

The victim was taken to the hospital to receive a CT scan, though we do not yet know the extent of the individual’s injuries. Another school bus in the area came to pick up the students left behind by the damaged bus.
