The accident took place around 6:00 p.m. and Medics responded to the scene around the area of Sharon Road and Rutherford Drive. The patient was initially listed in critical condition but they later passed away due to severe trauma.

The roadway was closed down for quite some time. Drivers were asked to use the utmost of caution in the area. At this time, they continue to investigate the accident.
