Charlotte, NC (November 18, 2018) – At this time, police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred late last night, November 17 on Westinghouse Commons Drive.

Officers arrived at the scene of the crash at 2:07 a.m. where they found that an Audi was involved in an accident and drove off the side of the road, then striking a tree. Medics on the scene say that the driver of the Audi died at the scene. The driver has since been identified as 26-year-old Kevin Bruce Barreto.

An investigation took place to reveal that the driver had been traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control. At this time, police are still trying to determine what caused the accident to take place.
