Charlotte, NC – One Dead and Another Injured in Serious Fatal Accident

Charlotte, NC (December 28, 2018) – Police say that one person was killed and another was left with severe injuries.

Charlotte, NC (December 28, 2018) – Police say that one person was killed and another was left with severe injuries following a serious fatal accident in north Charlotte last evening.

The accident took place around 5 p.m. in the 10000 block of Statesville Road south of the Twin Lakes Parkway. Medics say that one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and another was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.

At the time, 68-year-old Kathleen Briscoe was driving a Honda CRV when it went left of the center line and struck a vehicle headed in the opposite direction. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 23-year-old Tafari Daiyaan Bradley who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Briscoe is still listed in critical condition at the hospital today.

The accident scene was closed for quite some time. Police continue their investigation of the accident.
