Charlotte, NC (December 7, 2018) – Today, December 7, one person was killed and two were injured a fatal accident involving a bus that took place around 1 p.m. this afternoon.
The accident took place on the 1600 block of Eastway Drive and involved a bus from Cabarrus County. Two other passenger vehicles were involved in the accident.
Officials pronounced one person dead at the scene of the accident and the others were hospitalized with injuries but are expected to survive. Though the person who died has not yet been identified, they were not one of the passengers on the bus.
Eastway Drive was closed for several hours while police investigated the scene of the accident. They continue to investigate at this time.
