Charlotte, NC (November 4, 2018) – Police investigated a fatal accident that took place on I-485 that led to the death of one person. The accident happened this evening, November 4.

The incident took place on the outer loop of the highway. By the time emergency responders arrived at the scene, one person was already pronounced dead. Police are not sure how the accident happened but they said that multiple people were involved.

At this time, they do not believe that anybody else was injured in the accident. At the same time, police were responding to another accident on the inner part of the highway where five people were injured in a five-vehicle accident.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of this incident.
