Charlotte, NC (November 12, 2018) – Officials responded to an accident in Charlotte where a firetruck overturned, which injured two.

Charlotte, NC (November 12, 2018) – Officials responded to an accident in Charlotte where a firetruck overturned, which injured two firefighters Sunday morning, November 11.

The Cook’s Community Volunteer Fire Department said that, at the time of the accident, the two firefighters were responding to a vehicle that caught on fire in the area of Harris Boulevard. During this time, the members of the department were involved in their own accident, which led to their firetruck rolling over.

Both firefighters were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries and have since been released.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
