Cherokee County, GA (October 29, 2018) – In Cherokee County, all lanes were blocked following a serious crash that led to injuries. The accident happened on Interstate 575 in the southbound lanes.

Police and emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident to find that, around the area of Exit 7, two vehicles had struck one another with force. A dark gray sedan and a silver sedan had serious damages to the sides as if there were a merging issue.

The crash blocked all lanes on the highway and vehicles had to be relocated. Lanes were blocked all the way to the Towne Lake Parkway.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
