Cherokee County, SC (November 26, 2018) – In Cherokee County, a tractor-trailer accident took place on Interstate 85 last night, November 25. Police continue to investigate the accident.
Police are still trying to determine what caused the collision but they have released information that parties have been injured in the serious crash. The left lane of the highway in the southbound lane was completely blocked off for quite some time.
Troopers directed traffic for quite some time and shut down a part of the roadway. They cleared the scene within hours and injured parties were taken for treatment. At this time, the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
