Clark County, GA – Douglas Nash Loses His Life In Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Johnson Drive

Clark County, GA (October 14, 2018) – On Monday evening of October 8, 2018, a fatal car accident took place.

Clark County, GA (October 14, 2018) – On Monday evening of October 8, 2018, a fatal car accident took place in Clark County.  Douglas Nash of Athens, Georgia lost his life in a motorcycle multi-vehicle collision.  He died as a result of the catastrophic injuries that he sustained in the accident.

According to Clark County Deputies, 27-year-old was riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle, heading Southbound on Barnett Shoals Road in Athens-Clark County. Georgia State Officials state that the collision happened at the intersection near Johnson Drive in Athens, Georgia. At approximately 6:30 pm, an Acura MDX proceeded to turn left onto Barnett Shoals Road when suddenly swerving into the path of Nash’s motorcycle. The two vehicles crashed near the center turning lane. According to first responders, Douglas Nash died of his injuries at the scene. The driver of the Acura has not been identified, and  Georgia police are continuing to investigate to determine who was at fault.

The Clark County Police are still investigating this fatal accident.
