Clayton County, GA (November 10, 2018) – Police say that one individual lost their life in a pedestrian accident that took place in Clayton County that closed down I-75. The roadway was closed down for two hours overnight.
The accident closed down the road at Tara Boulevard on Thursday, November 8 around 12:45 a.m.
Police say that the pedestrian, whose name has not yet been released, was walking alongside the interstate at the time of the accident. He was struck by a passing vehicle.
The driver stayed at the scene of the accident to cooperate with police. At this time, no charges are expected to be filed. Lanes were opened within hours. Police continue to investigate the accident.
